Hello! I'm Fergus a Certified and Trained Bachata Dance Instructor based in Reading. I completed my Certification in Valencia with World Famous Professional Bachata Artists Alonso and Noelia.

I specialise in teaching Bachata at all levels creating a structured and supportive environment where people from all backgrounds can learn in a fun effective way. My journey with Bachata truly began in 2021. With a background rooted in street dance and hip hop, I already possessed a foundational confidence and ability that eased my transition into a new style. Bachata, for me, started as an exploration of connection, learning to confidently keep my head up and smile with my dance partner.

Bachata is now a profound passion of mine. I am committed to continuous personal development in dance, investing in training, classes, workshops, festivals, competitions, and self-practice. This dedication ensures that I provide the best possible experience for all students at Bachata Evolution Academy. My first year involved immersive foundation classes in London, which instilled in me the crucial importance of connection, timing, fundamental techniques, confidence, and personal expression in Bachata.

After competing in a range of international Bachata Competitions including (Bachata King Festival, Greece) and (Latin Notion UK Pro Competition) I completed my Teaching Qualification in Spain with World Famous Professional Bachata Artists Alonso and Noelia
